MIDDLEBOURNE -- The Hometown Racing Association, promoters of the Tyler County Speedway regrets to announce the postponement of this week’s anticipated Champions Award Banquet scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20. Due to another imminent winter storm forecasted for Friday and Saturday, the Hometown Racing Association has made the difficult yet necessary decision to prioritize the safety and well-being of our valued attendees with consideration to potential travel challenges and the bitter wind chills.
The new date for the Champions Award Banquet is now set for Saturday, March 2, at the Lewis Wetzel Family Center. The evening will commence with doors opening at 5 pm, followed by a delectable dinner served by Quinet’s at 6 pm, with the Awards ceremony taking place at 7 pm, recognizing the outstanding achievements of our 2023 racers.
To secure your reservation and RSVP for the event, we kindly request you contact us via phone or text message at 304-771-5661. We extend our gratitude for your understanding and continued support as we strive to provide a memorable and safe experience for all attendees.
