Cutrer WOODSFIELD, Ohio – Monroe County Commis- sioners heard about next years general fund budget, engineering issues and Community Development Block Grant opportunities during its Dec. 9 meeting. Monroe County Job and Family Services Director Jeanette Schwall reported the countys need is $12,861,926 and the countys renewal amount for 2020 is $11,777,842.27. This leaves a $1,084,84.53 shortage, which the county will have to provide in cash carryover. “You can do a reduction after the first of the year,” Schwall said, “but you are limited, al- though legally able to do it.” s are pro-Commissioner Carl Davis said commissioner ceeding with the sale of the Monroe County Care Cen- ter to Bryan Casey, president of Alternative Living Solutions, with a tentative closing date Dec. 16.
